The Army on Thursday defended a staff member at Arlington National Cemetery who clashed with Donald Trump campaign officials when they took photos and video of the former president in a restricted area of the cemetery. In a long and unusual statement, the Army noted the Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) staffer acted with 'professionalism' and said she was 'abruptly pushed aside' by Trump officials when she tried to enforce a federal law that forbids campaign activity at the cemetery.
