AN AMAZON shopper has claimed they have been scammed out of $1855 after buying a product on the platform.
Footage of the reported scam have been posted on the popular Reddit platform r/amazonprime.
Over 100,000 Amazon consumers use the platform to debate products and share recommendation.
One consumer posted a number of footage of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics processing unit that they'd bought.
The field was sealed in plastic and didn't look peculiar from the surface.
"Finally turned sufferer to a return rip-off, paid $1855 for a bag of flour," the disgruntled user wrote.
They offered 5 pictures of the box, together with one that exhibits the processing unit just isn't inside.
As an alternative, a nasty of flour is pictured instead despite the box seeming to be unopened prior to the client's unboxing.

The Reddit publish has over 2,000 upvotes and more than 700 comments.
