Miley Cyrus has ditched flowers for cowboy hats as a featured artist on Beyoncé's highly-anticipated new nation album, Cowboy Carter, which was released on Friday, March 29.

Cyrus, 31, and Beyoncé, 42, did the shock collaboration on new love track "II Most Needed" that fans are already calling an "iconic basic".

The monitor, which is about long run relationships, kicks off with the lyrics: "Know we're jumpin' the gun, but we're both nonetheless young/ In the future, we gained't be/ Didn't know what I would like 'til I saw your face/ Say goodbye to the previous me.

"I'll be your shotgun rider 'til the day I die/ Smoke out the window flyin' down the 405/ I'll be your backseat baby, drivin' you crazy/ Anytime you want," they sing within the chorus.

Following the music's launch an army of listeners flocked to social media website X to share their excitement. "Beyonce and Miley Cyrus harmonizing whew. Chef's kiss!" wrote one fan.

"Future Hope and Future Baby on the same track is historical past," wrote one other in reference to Beyonce's former woman group Future's Youngster and Cyrus, who was born Future Hope."

A 3rd stated: "I want an entire Beyonce and Miley album subsequent! Whew." Whereas a fourth commented: "This Bey and Miley track is on repeat. It's an iconic basic."

In the music's other lyrics, they croon: "Got here out of nowhere, didn't give no warnin'/ Pedal so heavy like the two most needed/ And I don't know what you're doin' tonight."

Miley then does her solo verse singing: "Making waves in the wind with my empty hand/ My different hand on you." Beyonce joins in with, "Been some time since I haven't tried to tug away/ Nevertheless it's time for one thing new."

It's not recognized if the track was impressed by their own relationships.

Beyonce has been married to hip hop mogul Jay-Z, 54, since 2008 and the couple share youngsters Blue Ivy, 12, and Twins Rumi and Sir, six.

Cyrus has been in a romance with drummer Maxx Morando, 25, since 2021.

This isn't the first time that the Flowers singer has shared the stage with the 32-time Grammy winner. In 2008, the duo carried out collectively as part of a Stand Up for Cancer occasion, alongside Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Leona Lewis.

Wanting again on that performance for her TikTok collection, "Used to Be Young," Cyrus recalled feeling the magnitude of singing with a number of the musical greats.

"What I keep in mind most from doing this efficiency is I was standing in between two of the large legends and icons that I used to be wanting as much as at the time, they usually treated me like somewhat sister the complete time, they have been being actually candy," she recounted in a August 2023 video. Cyrus joins a powerful lineup of star-studded performers on Cowboy Carter. The album, which options 27 tracks, features a music  with Submit Malone and talking features from Dolly PartonWillie Nelson and Linda Martell. Despite a hopeful fan frenzy, Taylor Swift, The Chicks and Woman Gaga have been not included on the monitor listing.

Beyoncé dropped the album's songs "Texas Maintain 'Em" and "16 Carriages" in February, turning into the primary Black lady with a No. 1 single on Billboard's Scorching Country Songs chart.

The artist detailed her new album by way of a March 19 Instagram post, noting that Cowboy Carter has been "over 5 years within the making." She shared a photo of herself atop a horse, decked out in a cowboy hat and holding an American flag. "[The album] was born out of an experience that I had years in the past where I didn't really feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn't," Beyoncé wrote. "However, due to that experience, I did a deeper dive into the historical past of Country music and studied our rich musical archive."

After teasing a couple of collaborations on the album, Beyoncé famous, "This ain't a Country album. This can be a 'Beyoncé' album. That is Act II Cowboy Carter, and I'm proud to share it with y'all!"

Cowboy Carter is out now.
