The boss of a plastering company referred to as 'Skim'll Fix It' has disregarded complaints concerning the controversial identify and insisted it's 'just banter'.
Sam Thatcher, of Ramsgate, Kent, says he chose the name- a reference to infamous paedophile Jimmy Savile's TV show 'Jim'll Repair It' – in a bid to face out.
However many branded the identify as 'frighteningly naïve' and 'insensitive' because of its connotations to Savile's heinous sex crimes, lots of which have been commited on set.

The skilled plasterer, who has worked within the business for almost 20 years and has been self-employed for 11 years, says he determined to rebrand his business within the hope of attracting new shoppers.

He defined: 'The identify was supposed to attract consideration to the enterprise – to draw in an viewers and get our identify out there.'
He wrote to followers on social media to deal with considerations about his firm's new identify, describing it as 'somewhat bit of banter in these darkish and depressing occasions we stay in'.
