Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman missed the the team's White House celebration on Monday due to being placed on the team's injured list with a lingering ankle issue. Freeman was due to be the player to represent the Dodgers to speak at the lectern during the event with President Donald Trump. The first baseman did not travel to Washington DC with the team due to his ankle injury and he was replaced by Clayton Kershaw, who also spoke at the White House to honor the 2020 championship team.
