Spike Lee wants to be remembered through his kids, Satchel and Jackson. Spike and his wife, Tonya Lewis Lee, first met in Washington, D.C. at the Congressional Black Caucus Dinner in September 1992. The following year, in October 1993, the couple wed at a church in New York City. They started their family in December 1994 when they welcomed their daughter Satchel, followed by their son Jackson in May 1997.
