Falcon Heene, nicknamed the 'balloon boy', captivated the nation when his weatherman father Richard set off a weather balloon and then claimed it was carrying Falcon. For two difficult hours on October 15, 2009, the silver helium balloon, which resembled a flying saucer, drifted at heights of up to 7,000 feet across the skies of Colorado.
