Caitlin Clark was looking out for one of her opponents, Kahleah Copper, on Sunday when the Indiana Fever star stopped a ricocheted ball from hitting her in the back of the head. Copper did not see the gesture and assumed the worst out of the rookie sensation for making a lunge behind her head. The Phoenix Mercury star then proceeded to aggressively walk towards Clark in a heated fashion before quickly being cut off by teammate and fellow Clark rival Diana Taurasi, among other teammates.
