Drake's security take down third intruder at Toronto mansion in one week as rapper steps up protection after shooting | 6SV7ROS | 2024-05-12 19:08:01
RAPSTAR Drake is still struggling with security amid artist beef and already increased security.
Toronto Police have confirmed that they responded to an intruder at Drake's home, the third in just four days.

According to the department, they responded to a call at the celebrity's estate to escort an intruder off the premises around 3:30 pm on Saturday, reported TMZ.
A short video shows the conclusion of Drake's security intruder takedown.
In it, a security guard can be seen holding a man's arms behind his back as others stand by waiting for the authorities.
An eyewitness claims to have seen the takedown in person while riding a bike by Drake's home.
He reports that two security guards tackled the would-be intruder to the ground, with one guard eventually placing a knee in the back of the man on the ground to keep him down.
According to this witness, the other security guard called the police over a radio while his coworker continued to restrain the intruder, on his side, who was not struggling.
Often called The Embassy, Drake's mansion is located in the Bridle Path, the wealthiest neighborhood in Canada.
Homes in the area have been listed on real estate websites for more than $10 million.
Saturday's intruder takedown follows a slew of targeted crimes against the rapper and his staff.
The first of which occurred on May 7 when a security guard was shot in the chest in a drive-by style shooting, undergoing surgery at the hospital.

The next day, an individual tried to break into the property but was stopped before finding success.
According to the Toronto Police, the man was detained under the Mental Health Act which allows police to detain a person if the officer has reasonable doubt to believe that person is acting disorderly and is a threat to themselves or others.
A second intruder tried to infiltrate the rapper's home on Thursday, reportedly getting into a physical confrontation with security before police were called.
Witnesses saw ambulances at the estate around the time of that incident, and it was later confirmed that the intruder was taken to be seen at a hospital.

As Drake struggles to keep his home secure, he is also three months deep in a rekindled feud with fellow contemporary rapper Kendrick Lamar.
While the pair have had beef for years, it was recently relit in March as the two volleyed diss tracks at each other.
With both hurdling insults ranging from parenting flaws and lack of rap prowess to serious legal allegations, Kendrick and Drake have both skyrocketed back into the public eye.
As the pair have been pushed to the forefront of pop culture news, it is still unclear if the increased attention has any connection to Drake's recent intruder incidents.
Police said they were aware of the beef but wouldn't speak more about it.
