A MECHANIC has created an Astractor – a Vauxhall Astra with tractor wheels.

He stated the standard Astra has to date proven one of the best – lasting at the very least 4 hours bounding by way of muddy fields before the engine turned waterlogged.
The automotive fanatic, from Nuneaton, spent £100 on the automotive and £20 on the tyres.
He stated: "It was a spur-of-the-moment thing to put the tractor wheels on it, however very enjoyable.
"We did it a number of years ago with a guide gear box and it did not go nicely, the clutch burnt out after 300 yards.
"The Astractor is an automated and has lasted the longest.
"I had to weld several wheels collectively to get it to suit.
"I spent about three hours on the automotive on Saturday, took it out on Sunday then on Monday I bought it for £250.
"It made lots of people snicker and was a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon."
