Dave Myers appeared on screens simply days earlier than his death aged 66, and made a heartbreaking declaration.
His TV associate and The Hairy Bikers co-star Si King announced on Thursday that Myers had died, two years after he was diagnosed with cancer.
King stated he would miss Myers 'every single day', in addition to 'the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime'.
He wrote: 'Personally, I am not positive I can put into words on how I feel in the mean time.
'My greatest pal is on a journey that for now, I can't comply with. I will miss him each day and the bond and friendship we shared over half a lifetime.
'I want you God's velocity brother; you're and can remain a beacon in this world. See you on the opposite aspect. Love ya.'
Myers had been sharing his health battles with fans over recent months, and was starring of their first Bushy Bikers collection since his analysis, with the newest episode airing simply days ago.
Last yr, Myers introduced he would return to Bushy Bikers with King, describing it as a& 'huge step back to normality'.
The Bushy Bikers Go West landed on BBC Two on February 6, followed by seven weekly episodes, the newest of which aired on Tuesday.
Of their penultimate episode, King stated: 'We didn't assume 18 months in the past we'd be on the bikes again and wandering around Dave's yard, and it's fantastic that we're.'
Myers added: 'It's been superb and the motorcycling has been superb, what can I say, it just feels so good to be alive.'
In the newest episode which aired on Tuesday, the pair recalled their 'fond childhood reminiscences', as they explored Merseyside.
Myers spoke a few childhood vacation he had in Liverpool, the place he was left 'humiliated' at college after mistaking the ferry for a 'cruise'.
He recalled: 'I was all the time pretentious, I put [in my school diary] "So mam and pop took me on a cruise". I stated we went to New Brighton and everyone burst out laughing, I was really humiliated. Because I assumed the New Brighton ferry was a cruise!'
He finished the episode speaking about the future of Merseyside being 'so brilliant', while King referred to as it 'an exquisite trip'.
During filming, Myers& got back on his bike for& the primary time in emotional scenes which had previously aired.
'I knew I'd acquired my man again,' his spouse Liliana had previously shared, remembering Myers returning to a motorcycle store and putting his helmet back on to take his new bike for a spin.
'It was like a miracle had happened, because it was one thing we thought he'd never do again. However he does it.'
'I was jumping for pleasure, not for some other cause, but to see my greatest mate doing what he does,' King added.
The Bushy Bikers Go West airs Tuesdays at 7pm on BBC Two, and is out there to observe on BBC iPlayer.
